Veterinary Biomedical Sciences Master's Degree Program

Admission Requirements

The Veterinary Biomedical Science graduate program is largely research based. Because of this, it is important that each graduate student identify a major professor who agrees to offer lab space, provide funding, and oversee all research while in the program. Once the student has been accepted by a graduate faculty mentor, the student should apply online through the Graduate School.

Applicants should be prepared to upload/provide the following items:

  • Statement of Objectives
  • Official transcripts of all college coursework completed
  • GRE scores
  • Three references for letters of recommendation

International applicants must also submit the following:

  • TOEFL scores
  • Affidavit of Financial Support form

While prospective students may complete an application without a major professor, applications will not advance to the approval stage until the applicant has identified, contacted, and been accepted by a graduate faculty member within one of the three discipline areas:

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis and admission will follow deadlines set forth by the Kansas State University Graduate School. More information about the graduate application and admission process is available.
