Diagnostic Service

  • Oversee the Parasitology section of the Kansas Veterinary Diagnostic Lab.
  • Involved in assisting practicing veterinarians and clients in the identification, diagnosis, and treatment of parasites in domestic, zoo, and wild animal species.

Teaching

  • Course coordinator for Veterinary Parasitology (VDMP 834) offered to the 2nd year veterinary students during the Fall semester.

Research

  • Surveillance of Echinococcus multilocularis in canids in the United States.
  • Improving fecal detection of E. multilocularis in wild canids.
