Student Clubs and Organizations
Avian Medicine Club - The Avian Medicine Club seeks to supplement the veterinary curriculum with opportunities to expand knowledge on avian or poultry medicine.
Canine Club - The CVM Canine Club is an organization whose mission is to provide increased knowledge within the canine industry to veterinary students.
Christian Veterinary Fellowship – The CVF's mission is to challenge, empower, and facilitate veterinary professionals to serve others by living out their Christian faith. This is facilitated by the development of student organizations established in veterinary schools across the country.
Comprehensive Public Health Group - CPHG seeks to explore the breadth and depth of public health through meeting with public health practitioners and experts, volunteer activities, and other club activities, our members gain knowledge and experience in a variety of public health topics from infectious disease control to promoting community nutrition and physical activity. CPHG emphasizes the need to examine these topics from an inter- and multidisciplinary perspective with consideration to human, animal, and environmental health.
Exotic Animal Medicine Club - The purpose of this organization is to provide additional educational opportunities to the students of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine who are interested in exotic animals, zoo, wildlife, laboratory or exotic pet animals.
Graduate Student Association - The Graduate Student Association promotes professional and social interactions among graduate students in graduate programs of College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University.
Integrative Medicine Club - To educate students about ways to integrate holistic medicine into their veterinary practice, whether it be laser therapy, acupuncture, homeopathy, chiropractic, or nutritional therapy
International Veterinary Students Association - To benefit the animals and people of the world LatinX Veterinary Medical Association - To form a community of LatinX excellence in the veterinary community.
Ophthalmology Club - Improve veterinary student’s understanding of ophthalmology and promote interests in veterinary ophthalmology.
Phi Zeta Honorary Society, Sigma Chapter - The Sigma Chapter of Phi Zeta has been established at Kansas State University to recognize and promote scholarships and research pertaining to the welfare and diseases of animals.
Pride Student Veterinary Medical Community - To create a brighter world for our LGBTQ+ community
Radiology Club - The KSU CVM Radiology Club is an organization for veterinary students at Kansas State University who are interested in veterinary radiology. Through guest speakers/clinicians to give lectures on imaging, and hands-on wet labs that allow members to gain additional practice with imaging techniques, such as ultrasound.
Student Chapter of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners – To lead future veterinarians in further bovine medicine education.
Student Chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners - To provide veterinary students with increased exposure to issues of special interest in the equine industry.
Student Chapter of the Association of Feline Practitioners - supports its members in improving the health and wellbeing of cats through high standards of practice, continuing education, and evidence-based medicine.
Student Chapter of the American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners - expand concepts discussed briefly in lectures in the CVM curriculum regarding small ruminants/camelids
Student Chapter of the American Association of Swine Veterinarians - to increase the knowledge of swine veterinarians, protect and promote the health and well-being of pigs, advocate science-based approaches to veterinary, industry, and public health issues, promote the development and availability of resources that enhance the effectiveness of professional activities, create opportunities that inspire personal and professional growth and interaction, and mentor students to encourage life-long careers as swine veterinarians.
Student Chapter of the American Society of Lab Animal Practitioners - encourage interest in the lab animal profession and supply resources and platforms for students who are interested in this field.
Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior - The purpose of this organization is to provide education about important topics of animal behavior to students and the community, as well as emphasizing the significance and clinical relevance of animal behavior in all aspects of veterinary medicine.
Student Chapter of the American Association of Veterinary Pathologists - To provide students in the CVM with the ability to explore the fields of pathology and research within veterinary medicine.
Student Chapter of the Association of Asian Veterinary Medical Professionals - AAVMP is an affinity organization that works to inspire, support, and increase the voice and visibility of Asians, AsianAmericans, and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) in the veterinary profession and advocate for greater general diversity in the veterinary profession
Student Chapter of the Association of Shelter Veterinarians - spread awareness about shelter medicine as a future career.
Student Chapter of the Veterinary Business Management Association - The Veterinary Business Management Association is a student-driven organization dedicated to advancing the profession through increasing business knowledge, creating networking opportunities, and empowering students to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Student Chapter of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society - As the KSU CVM SCVECCS Chapter, we strive to continually improve the knowledge base and garner more interest among students in veterinary emergency medicine.
Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association - acts as the College Council for the College of Veterinary Medicine within Kansas State University and aims to prepare its members for the social, moral, and ethical obligations of the veterinary profession and gain professional knowledge.
Student Chapter Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry - The CVM Dentistry Club is an organization for veterinary students at Kansas State University who are interested in veterinary dentistry. Additional learning opportunities are provided through guest speakers and clinicians that give lectures on small animal, large animal, and exotic animal care. Student members can participate in hands-on wet labs that allow our members to gain additional practice with dental procedures, imaging and annual care.
Student Chapter of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine - The purpose of the Chapter is to promote the specialties of cardiology, neurology, oncology, large animal internal medicine, and small animal internal medicine through the advancement of knowledge to veterinary medical students

Theriogenology Club - To educate and inspire veterinary students in Theriogenology
Veterinary Voyagers - To provide networking opportunities for pre-veterinary students while also allowing members to gain a variety of veterinary skills and experiences.
Vet Med ROCKS (Recruitment and Outreach Club of Kansas State) - Our mission is to provide veterinary outreach to underserved populations and create an inviting and welcoming environment for all who are interested in veterinary medicine.
VOICE Veterinarians as One Inclusive Community for Empowerment - VOICE hopes to establish a chapter at every veterinary college, to create a diverse national network of mentors in the various fields of veterinary medicine, and to establish a scholarship fund that will reward veterinary students for showing outstanding leadership and commitment in the area of diversity.
