- Provide oversight of the program for student support including student recruitment, admissions and orientation, student advising, student activities on campus, student field experiences, and graduate placement and career success.
- Provide administrative oversight of the program including program promotion and marketing, management of support staff, curriculum development, and programmatic assessment.
- Communicate with MPH faculty in the four emphasis areas of food safety and biosecurity; infectious disease and zoonoses; public health nutrition; or public health physical activity.
- Recruit new MPH interdisciplinary primary and program faculty.
- Interact with the Dean of the Graduate School and the leadership of colleges and departments participating in the interdisciplinary MPH Program.
- Maintain and update program accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).

- Support Kansas public health partners including the Kansas Public Health Workforce Development Coordinating Council, the Kansas Association of Local Health Departments, and the Kansas Public Health Association.
