Service and Outreach

My responsibility as a diagnostic anatomic pathologist is to perform necropsies and biopsies, which are from a wide range of animal species.

My particular areas of interest include poultry and oral/dental pathology. I am committed to promoting clinician and producer involvement. team approach to cases, from the diagnostic process to management and resolution of disease.

Teaching

Diagnostic Medicine rotation – Fourth year veterinary students gain experience with animal necropsy techniques, interpretation of gross lesions, sample collection for diagnostic testing, and clinicopathologic integration of diagnostic cases. The only thing better than teaching on the necropsy floor is learning from the students.

Anatomic pathology residents and Diagnostic interns – Veterinarians in advanced training programs gain experience alongside the pathologists as members of the diagnostic team. I also offer topic rounds or lectures to supplement the diagnostic case material.
