That's a Wrap! We're grateful to everyone who attended. The information on thse pages are for reference only.
Stay tuned for next year's event updates.

The first year of this RVT training was focused on Anesthesia Medicine. This day-long seminar had 7 CE's approved by Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Hosted in Hays, Kansas at the Hilton Garden Inn, 221 West 43rd Street, it featured speakers from the College who are either RVT's or DVM's working directly with anesthesia medicine. An online option was offered if enough registrants were interested in participating virtually.

The goal of this single day continuing education event was to provide as close to comprehensive update on peri-anesthetic monitoring as possible. Much of veterinary medicine has advanced in the past several decades and the same is true for anesthetic monitoring. During this event, attendees were (re-)exposed to the basics and application of standard anesthetic and peri-anesthetic monitoring for veterinary patients. We also reviewed what should be considered standard in any veterinary practice performing anesthetic events. This event was targeted towards those who are involved in the anesthetic management of patients, both DVMs and veterinary technicians/nurses.

Sessions were recorded and posted on the K-State Online CE Program.
