Research Interests
The focus of the KuKanich Clinical Pharmacology Research Program at Kansas State University is the evaluation, design, and optimization of drug dosages through clinical trials and pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic studies. The evaluation of analgesics and analgesic adjuncts in companion animals is a focus of the research program. Collaborative studies in all areas of pharmacology are supported by the laboratory through analytical methodology, study design, pharmacokinetic, and pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modeling.
