The Veterinary Medical Library, as a gateway to the world's biomedical information, is dedicated to excellence in support of the College of Veterinary Medicine's mission, the advancement of knowledge, life-long learning, and consumer health. The library staff of information specialists provides customized information services for all clientele including veterinary and health care practitioners, allied groups, and the general public.

With over 13 million records available, CAB Direct is an extensive resource in applied life sciences that includes databases such as CAB Abstracts and Global Health, VetMed Resource, CABI Full Text, CAB ebooks Archive, and Animal Health and Production Compendium.

PubMed consists of Pre-Medline and Medline with access to mostly human-oriented medical literature and some veterinary medicine.

AGRICOLA indexes publications on agriculture and all related fields including veterinary medicine.
