My research focus is to understand the pathogenesis of important infectious and zoonotic diseases of animals like swine influenza. I provide pathology support to various research projects undertaken at CEEZAD (center of excellence for emerging zoonotic animal diseases).

Service

I also provide necropsy and biopsy services to clients of Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory.

Teaching

I assist in teaching veterinary courses to second year veterinary students and fourth year veterinary students on necropsy rotation. Additionally, I am involved in training pathology residents.
