Historic celebration for U.S.-China Joint DVM Program and veterinary education agreement between Kansas State University and China (English) October 19, 2017 A very special celebration for Kansas State University took place in China on Oct. 19, 2017. Members of the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and the U.S.-China Center for Animal Health gathered with dignitaries and colleagues in Beijing on Oct. 19, 2017, to celebrate the graduation of the first four Chinese Doctor of Veterinary Medicines since 1949. The celebration also included a special signing ceremony for an agreement that furthers the expansion of the U.S.-China Joint Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program. 2017年10月19日，堪萨斯州立大学在中国举行了一次非常特别的庆祝典礼。在这一天，堪萨斯州立大学兽医学院和美中动物卫生中心的成员与其他贵宾同行们相聚于北京，为庆祝自1949年新中国成立以来首批四位执业兽医学博士中国学生的毕业。庆典还包括一项特别的协议签订仪式，以进一步扩大中美联合培养执业兽医博士项目的规模。 |

U.S.-China Center for Animal Health Co-hosts International Symposium on Veterinary Education in Qingdao, China (English) October27, 2014 | 2014年10月27日 A mutual interest in improving animal health and veterinary education is helping the U.S.-China Center for Animal Health at Kansas State University bring new global partners together in China. In October 2014, the Center partnered with the Chinese Veterinary Medical Association and Zoetis, a globe animal health company to host an International Symposium on Veterinary Education in Qingdao, China. 对于提高中国动物卫生和兽医教育水平的共同心愿促成了堪萨斯州立大学兽医学院把新的全球合作伙伴引进了中国。兽医学院美中动物卫生中心与中国兽医协会和全球动物卫生企业硕腾公司合作于10月下旬共同在中国青岛主办了一次兽医教育国际研讨会。 |

New Kansas state university partnership hosts pre-veterinary students from China November 13, 2012 Working to earn a veterinary degree can be difficult. Coming to another country to do it can make it even more complicated. Kansas State University is now hosting four pre-veterinary students from China who intend to complete this challenge with help from the U.S.-China Center for Animal Health at the College of Veterinary Medicine. While these four students have completed veterinary programs in China, these courses were part of undergraduate degrees that do not provide the same clinical experience as veterinary colleges in the United States. Helping students like these improve their veterinary skills is one of the missions of the U.S.-China Center for Animal Health. |

Agreement gives Chinese students a jump start on a U.S. veterinary medicine education November 9, 2012 A new partnership is letting Kansas State University introduce Chinese students to a U.S. veterinary medicine education. Officials from the university's College of Veterinary Medicine signed a memo of understanding Oct. 28 with the China Scholarship Council on a joint program to help educate Chinese veterinary students in the United States.
