FAQ

How do I receive my certificate?

Once you watch the video seminar and complete the quiz with 70% accuracy or above, you will be able to access your. Once this is done, you can go to “My Progress” and use the drop down menu to select the seminar that you completed. There will be a link that states “Click here to access the certificate of completion.” This is where you will have access to your certificate.

How do I print my certificate?

To print your certificate, you must complete all the quiz associated with a video seminar with an 70% or above. Once this is done, you will have a link to your transcript above the package list in “My Progress” that states “Click here to access the certificate of completion.” This is where you will have access to your certificate.

How long does it take to complete a training package?

Each video module can be different but most are around 30 minutes in length and are offered for .5 CE credit hours. However, some modules can be .75 CE credit hours or around 45 minutes in length, or 1 CE credit hours, or around 1 hour in length.

With what accuracy do I have to pass the quiz?

All quizzes in each package must be passed with an 70% or above.

How do I access a forgotten password?

Select “Forgot Password” on the main menu, enter your email or your username and your password will be emailed to you.

Can I download the video seminar to watch on my computer?

No. You must watch the video in the video player online.

What are the printable handouts for?

Most seminars feature PDF handouts that you can print for reference. Usually these include slide handouts that are useful for following along with the seminar and taking notes. In some programs, the speaker provided additional notes that can provide you with additional information on the seminar’s subject.

How many questions are there on the “short quiz” for the individual seminars?

For the individual seminars, there are usually four to five multiple-choice or true-false questions. Only a few have more than that.

Are your online seminars RACE approved?

Our programs are not RACE approved. However, Kansas State University is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. All academic programs offered by Continuing Education are Kansas State University programs and thus have the same accreditation. The College of Veterinary Medicine is also fully accredited by The American Veterinary Medical Association Council. Please check with your state's regulatory board about the acceptance of online continuing education credit for the purposes of state license requirements.
