A new pathogenic Theileria organism was discovered on the east coast a few years ago. The tick vector has also been discovered as far west as Missouri and Arkansas.
This seminar will summarize the latest literature and first-hand accounts from veterinarians’ field experience with Theileria. Additionally, we'll cover clinical signs, modes of transmission, treatment, prevention, and estimates to where this organism may become established in the U.S.
