For students interested in Food Safety and Public Health, the University of Padova offers a two-week summer course for some KSU students each year. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from various international experts in these areas. Some past years’ lectures include: prevention of contamination and decontamination of meat, legislation governing food production in Europe, and an overview of food toxicology.

In addition to this course, the University of Padova offers a high quality Italian cultural experience at one of the world’s oldest universities.

Because this program is a student exchange, KSU students will also have the opportunity to host and learn from colleagues at their home university.
