Ultrasound Workshop posterThis year, join us for an exciting workshop on small animal Veterinary Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS)! This hands-on opportunity is essential for anyone looking to enhance their triage methods and patient evaluation skills. POCUS techniques seamlessly integrate with and complement physical examinations, especially in emergency contexts, as well as daily monitoring. This workshop requires minimal experience, and we'll guide you through the process with our House Officer and Faculty. Participants must follow the theorical lecture linked to this workshop during the Annual Conference for Veterinarians by Dr. MacKenzie Hallman on June 3. It is not possible to take this lecture independently of the rest of the conference.

Description:

When? Tuesday, June 4, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, at the Hilton Garden Inn (Annual Conference site)

Who? For DVM, maximum 18 participants.

How? The workshop will be held in three different area of practice: Abdomen, Cardiac , Thoracic
Participants will be split by groups of three in these different hands-on areas and each area will be supervised by a house officer or a faculty.
Each work area consists of two US machines and two examination tables. Each session begins with a demonstration, followed by practice time.
