Dr. Marjory Artzer graduated from the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 and worked for many years as a small animal general practitioner. In 2008, while practicing as part of the Pet Health Center General Medicine Service at Kansas State University, she became increasingly involved in small animal dentistry. In 2020, Dr. Artzer began a part-time small animal dental residency with Companion Animal Dentistry of Kansas City and achieved board certification with the American Veterinary Dental College in June 2025.

Dr. Chris Blevins received his masters’ degree from Kansas State University Animal Science and Industry in 2004. In 2006 he graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State with a doctorate in veterinary medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Blevins did a large animal/equine internship in Indiana at Janssen Veterinary Clinic and Purdue University Veterinary College. In 2007, he became an associate veterinarian at a mixed animal private practice in Savannah, MO. Dr. Blevins joined the faculty at Kansas State University in 2009 and is currently a Clinical Professor, Equine Field Service Clinician, and Equine Section Head. His primary interest is in equine preventative care and management including equine dentistry.
