Allyship in the Academic Veterinary Community: Listening to One Another and Working Together we are Even Better Veterinary Professionals!
Dr. Beth Davis

Dr. Davis is a graduate of the University of Florida and has been a member of the K-State CVM faculty for the past two decades. She currently serves as the associate dean of clinical programs, where working with faculty and veterinary students are primary roles. Serving as the head of the clinical sciences department, provides the opportunity for academic oversight of curricular delivery and organization for third and fourth year veterinary students. Serving as the director of the Veterinary Health Center provides an opportunity for engagement with students, staff and faculty on a clinical platform. Collectively, Dr. Davis is proud to work toward a respectful and productive veterinary environment. Through this discussion, examples and opportunities for allyship in the academic veterinary community will be discussed.
