Public Safety & Security
The physical security of the College of Veterinary Medicine is necessary for the successful accomplishment of the College’s teaching and research missions. The Public Safety & Security Office enhances and supports the overall physical security program at the College.

- 24/7 365 Safety Officer Coverage
- Uniformed Officers On-Site
- 4 full time and 4 part time safety officers.
- We are not law enforcement and are not an extension of KSUPD.
- We are a separate entity that is here to assist and support you with any safety/security related issues that do not rise to the level of a 911 call.
