Pride Student Veterinary Medical Community
The Pride Student Veterinary Medical Community (PSVMC) chapter at Kansas State University aims to empower lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, asexual, etc. (LGBT+) veterinary students and enlighten the student body on issues regarding gender, sex, and sexual orientation. PSVMC works with the local community and the K-State main campus to promote diversity and educate future veterinary professionals on social issues and cultural awareness. Additionally and importantly, the club serves as a safe haven for students in need.
Activities are free of charge for students, and the organization is open to all veterinary students.
