Student Tutoring Program

The College of Veterinary Medicine provides a peer-tutoring program available to students needing academic assistance if appropriate tutors are available. Students who feel they can benefit from this service should contact the Associate Dean and are encouraged to seek help as soon as potential problems are realized to receive assistance before serious problems develop. Faculty may refer students to the tutoring program if they feel the student is in need of additional help. Students wishing to serve as a tutor should contact the Associate Dean and indicate which subject(s) they feel qualified to tutor. Tutors are paid an hourly wage and each may be assigned up to four students. Students who have tutored indicate that the program has also benefited them by their review of the material.
