Policy for students with disabilities

For Students

Kansas State University is dedicated to providing equal opportunity and access for every student. Any student with a disability who may require academic accommodations should contact the Student Access Center (SAC), 202 Holton Hall, 785-532-6441, accesscenter@k-state.edu.

Students are asked to provide the SAC with appropriate documentation of the disability from a qualified professional. Documentation guidelines can be found at www.k-state.edu/accesscenter. Upon student request, SAC will provide eligible students a letter outlining recommended accommodations. Recommended accommodations are approved by the Associate Dean for Academic Programs & Student Affairs. Letters of accommodation from the SAC office need to be distributed to each instructor and the Associate Dean for Academic Programs & Student Affairs. Testing sites for students needing accommodations will normally take place at the Student Access Center located at 202 Holton Hall
