Interpretation

Radiographic Impressions:

Differentials for the mass effect in the caudal abdomen should include sublumbar lymphadenopathy secondary to metastatic neoplasia, and less likely infectious disease, abscess, or hematoma.

Ultrasonographic Impressions:

Origin of the mass may be lymph node, musculature, vascular or neural. Differentials would include neoplasia and infectious disease (granulomatous).  A fine needle aspirate was obtained with no periprocedural complications.
