Get Pet Friendly with a Pet Friendly license plate

Pet Friendly License Plate

Support spaying and neutering and Shelter Medicine through Kansas’ Pet Friendly license plate program.

Mobile Surgery StudentsHow much does a Pet Friendly license plate cost? There is annual fee of $50, which goes to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University to support the Shelter Medicine program and the K-State Mobile Surgery Unit in the Clinical Science department. The annual fee from each license plate directly covers the expense of having a rescued animal spayed or neutered at a Kansas animal shelter. The spaying and neutering procedures are performed by veterinary students, providing an extremely valuable hands-on, professional experience.

Are there additional charges? You pay a one-time production fee plus applicable fees to your county treasurer.
