Job Type: Associate
The Osborne Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time associate for our 2-man practice. The practice is 60% large animal and 40% small animal. The large animal is primarily cow/calf. We offer clinic as well as ambulatory services. We recently remodeled the calving area to make it more safe and efficient. The clinic includes an active boarding facility. We have added more indoor runs to meet the demand. The practice has been serving the area for almost 60 years. We have a strong client base and focus on a caring attitude. I am a 1986 KSU graduate and purchased the practice 2 years ago, after working here for many years. I am seeking to hire an associate to help implement a fresh attitude. We are open Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, and Saturdays 8 am to 12 pm. On-call duty would include alternating nights and weekends. Osborne has a population of approximately 1,000 people. We have 2 golf courses, baseball complex, and bike trail. Another asset to the community is the construction of a new hospital, and a new community swimming pool! The town is a great place to raise a family as we have a strong school system. Location along the Solomon River and close proximity to Glen Elder Lake offers excellent hunting and fishing. We also see a large influx of hunters during the upland game bird season.
