Stem Cells Without All The Controversy

Last week, Missouri voters decided that any form of stem cell research legal under federal law can be carried out in their state. Stem cells may hold the promise of lifesaving therapies for a host of currently incurable diseases. But taking stem cells from human embryos remains highly controversial. Researchers at Kansas State University think they may have found a plentiful source of stem cells without so much ethical and moral baggage. Health Reporter Bryan Thompson has more as we continue our series, “Kansas Health: A Prescription for Change”.
