SCAARP – STUDENT CHAPTER OF THE
AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF SMALL RUMINANT PRACTITIONERS

The Student Chapter of the American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners (SCAARP) provides a forum for those with interest in small ruminants, including sheep, goats, llamas, elk, deer and other related species.  We have monthly meetings to further the professional development of members by augmenting the academic curriculum with topics ranging from medicine to general husbandry.  Wetlabs are offered several times a semester to provide hands-on experience in handling, health evaluation and breeding soundness of various small ruminant species.  All students, staff and faculty are welcome to join.
