Graduate Student Scholarship Awards
K-State College of Veterinary Medicine
Due to the generosity of many donors, each fall the College of Veterinary Medicine has a number of scholarships and memorials to award. The Scholarship committee reviews applications and awards scholarships on a competitive basis using the criteria stated for each scholarship.
Scholarship will be awarded annually in the fall:
The deadline for scholarship applications November 15 by 5:00pm or the next business day when the 15th falls on a weekend.
Applications for scholarship should include the following information:
Personal information requested in the application, a list of scholarships you are applying for, amount of funding you’re requesting, and type of scholarly activity for which support is requested (tuition assistance, materials needed for research/lab work, name of meeting/travel location, etc). Provide an estimated budget for your use of funds. A CV, letter of recommendation, list of published articles, and transcripts (unofficial is acceptable) are all encouraged to help strengthen your application.
Awards will be made based on the following criteria:
The scholarship committee reviews each application and will work diligently using each scholarship’s criteria to select the most appropriate and strongest applicant for each award.
