Anatomy and Physiology



Graduates of the doctoral program in Veterinary Physiology will: demonstrate competency in basic physiology; demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge through critical thinking, inquiry, analysis and communication and to produce scholarly and creative works; and exhibit an awareness of their responsibilities and professional conduct towards all constituent groups.


  1. Abilities to formulate research questions, design and conduct appropriate experiments, analyze and interpret data, and disseminate research outcomes.
  2. Professional and technical expertise in chosen discipline.
  3. Critical thinking and interpretation of information presented.
  4. Effective use of oral and written communication skills.
