Groucho a Brittany spaniel
First year veterinary student, Sarah Boller, and her husband, Ray, adopted the Brittany spaniel that was brought into the VMTH on December 1st, 2000 after the owners abandoned her. “Groucho” had been hit by a car and was badly injured.

The surgery went well and she’s healing nicely in her new home. Groucho has also been lucky enough to “adopt” a brother and sister, an eight-year old huskey mix, Zaidie, and a cat, Tyson.

“We wanted to say thank you to anyone and everyone who donated time, effort, and money to her cause. She is a very sweet dog and we will do everything we can to provide her with a healthy, happy home,” said Sarah.

Bernadine (Bernie) Groucho Boller would like to especially thank Nancy Adams, Dr. Corse, Linda Rohs, and the Soft Tissue Surgery students for having such big hearts. Here's to providing yet another animal a second chance at health and happiness!
