Assistant, Associate, or Full- Professor in Veterinary Radiology
The Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant, associate or professor-level position in Veterinary Radiology. Applicants must hold a D.V.M. or equivalent degree, be certified as a Diplomate by the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR), or be eligible to take the ACVR certifying examination. ECVDI Diplomates are encouraged to apply as long as they are willing to pursue ACVR diplomate status. Competence in general radiography, diagnostic ultrasound, nuclear medicine, MR and CT is critical.
The successful candidate will join a radiology section that includes two board certified radiologists, three residents, three technicians, and administrative assistance. Equipment includes large and small animal computed and digital radiology, state-of-the-art ultrasound, in-house helical CT and low field MR, as well as nuclear medicine. Directed clinical service will include delivery of elective and emergency imaging services to small, large, and exotic animal patients in the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Teaching responsibilities include instruction of veterinary students, interns, and residents in clinical rounds, and lecture environments. Opportunities exist for collaboration across a broad range of basic and clinical sciences within the College of Veterinary Medicine. We seek a person who can work well with others and help build and maintain a quality radiology program.
The starting date for the position is negotiable. Salary will be commensurate with the applicant's experience and qualifications.
