A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology Department, at Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS. The position responsibilities include conducting research involving molecular biology to study regulation of gene expression in Ehrlichia chaffeensis. The successful candidate will have obtained a PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or a related discipline, have published one or more meritorious first-author manuscripts, and have proven experience with modern molecular biology techniques, protein studies, and cell culture.
