Interim Associate Dean for Research
College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University

Applications are invited for the position of Interim Associate Dean for Research. This position provides leadership to research programs in the college and advice and counsel to the Dean on matters related to research and scholarly activities. The successful candidate is expected to oversee research policies and guidelines within the college, facilitate extramural funding for college research initiatives, maintain research infrastructure, and promote and represent the college’s research programs.

The successful candidate should have substantial administrative experience and an understanding of extramural funding from both the USDA and NIH. The ability to understand, appreciate and advocate for the full spectrum of veterinary college research efforts is essential. This position will be a part-time position; the FTE required for carrying out the responsibilities is negotiable. An administrative stipend and appropriate personnel support will be provided.
