Radiologic Technologist - Veterinary


The Veterinary Health Center at Kansas State University invites applications for an unclassified professional position as Medical Technologist in the Radiology Service. The Radiology Service provides computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance (MRI), nuclear  medicine, ultrasound and diagnostic radiology imaging for animals and provides treatment and care of animals undergoing I-131 therapy. This position includes assisting with clinical teaching endeavors of the Radiology Section.

Candidates must be a graduate from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved Radiologic Technology Program or an American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) accredited Veterinary Technician Program.  Candidates must have one year of professional  experience or advanced training in one of the above fields. Knowledge and safe handling of radioactive isotopes and good radiation safety skills are required.  Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist with the Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KBHA), or Registration as a Veterinary Technician with the Kansas Board of Veterinary Examiners (KBVE).
