Research Assistant Position at Kansas State University
A Research Assistant position specializing in analytical chemistry is opening immediately at Kansas State University within the College of Veterinary Medicine. This position will develop, validate and perform analytical assays using liquid chromatography / mass spectrometry and gas chromatography / mass spectrometry for the Analytical Pharmacology lab and the Institute of Computational Comparative Medicine.
This position will also manage laboratory supplies and consumables, organize and oversee laboratory safety procedures, maintain appropriate storage, handling and disposal of analytical chemicals and solvents per University standards.
A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in chemistry, biochemistry or similar field is required. Two full years of experience in an analytical laboratory is required.
