Post-Doctoral Fellow
A full-time Post-Doctorate position is available in the Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology at Kansas State University. The successful candidate will join a Rift Valley Fever research team and perform immunology and virology studies related to this important mosquito-borne viral disease. The candidate will plan and conduct experiments; write and edit manuscripts/articles; and establish procedures and techniques. Highly motivated individuals are sought with extensive research background in immunology and molecular virology. Experience in basic immunology techniques is required. The candidate should have a PhD in a relevant discipline and be able to conduct research experiments under both BSL-2 and BSL-3 biocontainment conditions.
