Post Doctoral Fellow position available with the Institute of Computational Comparative Medicine
A Post Doctoral Fellow position is opening immediately to conduct research within the new Institute of Computational Comparative Medicine under the direction of Professor Jim Riviere at Kansas State University housed within the College of Veterinary Medicine. A PhD in pharmacokinetics, pharmacometrics or biostatistics along with experience doing population-based mixed-effect pharmacokinetic or physiological based pharmacokinetic modeling is required.
The individual in this position develop and apply pharmacokinetic models to research projects active in the Institute of Computational Comparative Medicine. This could involve describing chemical, drug and/or nanomaterial disposition using in vitro or in vivo models. Pharmacokinetic approaches include mixed-effect population and physiological based pharmacokinetic models. Experience with Phoenix™ mixed-effect or AcslX™ physiological based pharmacokinetic modeling software, and ability to professionally interact with collaborating scientists involved in these projects is preferred.
