Post-Doc
A full-time Post-Doctorate position is available in the Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology at Kansas State University. The successful candidate will perform research on Influenza and Rift Valley immunology and virology work. The candidate will plan and conduct experiments; write and edit manuscripts/articles; and establish procedures and techniques. Highly motivated individuals are sought with an extensive research background in immunology and molecular virology. The successful candidate should have influenza and/or negative-strand RNA virus research background and have basic immunology techniques. The candidate should have a PhD in a relevant discipline and be able to conduct research and animal experiments under both BSL-2 and BSL-3 biocontainment conditions.
