Pet Friendly License Plate

Support spaying and neutering and Shelter Medicine through Kansas’ new license plate program.

 

Dr. Sara MarkHow much does a Pet Friendly license plate cost? There is an annual fee of $50 payable to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University. The proceeds will be used to support education regarding spaying and neutering in Kansas and veterinary student externships at animal shelters in Kansas.

Are there additional charges? You pay a one time production fee plus applicable fees to your county treasurer.

How do I order a Pet Friendly license plate?
Visit your county treasurer’s office and let them know you’d like to order a Pet Friendly license plate.

Do I reorder my Pet Friendly license plate each year?
Pay the annual fee at your county treasurer’s office along with regular fees when you renew your plate each year.
