Internist and Oncologist needed for a small animal emergency and referral practice. This is a great opportunity for the right people to join our growing practice in picturesque Lebanon, New Jersey. We are seeking another Internist and Oncologist to join us as we enter our third year in our new, state-of-the-art facility. We are building a team of caring, compassionate professionals to serve an affluent and appreciative clientele. We have a full service Intensive Care Unit overseen by a board certified criticalist to help manage difficult cases. The Red Bank Veterinary Hospital Healthcare Network, consisting of 24-hour emergency, critical care and specialty hospitals, is looking to rebuild and redefine our Oncology Department. We are seeking a group of experienced and personable team players to join our team and provide a friendly, approachable, and integrative approach to cancer care. Our Oncology Department began 25 years ago and has been a thriving mainstay of our specialty care. Our goal is to bring progressive medical and radiation cancer options to our extensive client base, and offer clinical trials and a comprehensive treatment approach that incorporates many of our specialties including acupuncture, therapeutic massage, and nutritional counseling. Our Oncology Department in Tinton Falls consists of one radiation oncologist. Historically, approximately 175 new case referrals were seen per month by our medical oncology staff. The department is supported by dedicated technicians including two certified linear accelerator operators. The hospital has a dedicated chemotherapy suite with phaseal technology in addition to a linear accelerator, which we will be upgrading to a Varian within the next few months. We also use state-of-the-art 3D Pinnacle treatment planning software, and digital portal imaging with Kodak's 2000i computed radiography system to ensure anatomic accuracy in field placement. We would like to expand our oncology offerings in Tinton Falls and make appointments available at all network locations (Cherry Hill, Hillsborough, Linwood), referring patients to our main location for radiation therapy when indicated. Full-time specialists at the main hospital (Tinton Falls) include anesthesiology and pain management, cardiology, clinical nutrition, critical care, dermatology and allergy, internal medicine, neurology and neurosurgery, oncology, ophthalmology and surgery (orthopedic and soft tissue). Cherry Hill offers behavior, cardiology, critical care, internal medicine, and surgery. Hillsborough provides acupuncture, behavior, critical care, clinical nutrition, internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, and surgery; and Linwood has surgery. The RBVH Center for Integrative Veterinary Medicine (Red Bank) provides acupuncture, behavior, chiropractic, therapeutic massage, pain management, physical rehabilitation, therapeutic laser, medical boarding, and weight management. All enjoy the support of a large number of referring hospitals. We also provide a complimentary patient transport service between hospitals to give patients greater access to specialists in our network. Tinton Falls is seated in Monmouth County on the beautiful Jersey Shore, just minutes from the beach, cultural activities, and one of the largest antique districts in the state. It is nestled between the ocean and rolling hills and is one hour from New York City and Philadelphia.
