Dogs and Cats Veterinary Referral and Emergency Hospital is seeking a board certified or residency trained internist to join our existing team. DCVR is a small team of specialists that work together in a friendly, approachable, open communication style atmosphere. We look forward to hiring a person who will add to, and join us in our team's philosophy of great customer service, outstanding patient care, and camaraderie. Although a small group, we have specialists in internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, surgery, and radiology. In addition, DCVR is a 24/7 emergency facility staffed with highly proficient and experienced emergency doctors, all internship trained. The internal medicine service is supported by a highly educated technical staff with years of experience in specialty medicine. Our hospital is spacious, with a layout that facilitates communication and efficient workflow. We are fully equipped and state of the art, with endoscopic, bronchoscopic, and cystoscopic equipment, as well as a fully integrated in-house Idexx laboratory. Our surgical suites are equipped with laparoscopy and fluoroscopy; in addition, we have ultrasounds, a multi-slice CT scanner, and we will have on-site MRI capabilities in the next few months. DCVR is located in Bowie, Maryland which is conveniently located between Washington, DC, Annapolis and Baltimore.
