20th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament

Colbert Hills Golf Course
Monday, June 2nd, 2014

More than $85,000 has been raised during the past 19 years for scholarship assistance for veterinary students through the College of Veterinary Medicine Scholarship Golf Tournament.

A third year student wrote, “Your commitment to helping promising students achieve their goals is wonderful. Rest assured the scholarship is being put to good use.” Another student wrote, “I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing me to be one of this year’s recipients of the Golf Tournament Scholarship. The scholarship will be used to lessen my financial burden, and for that, I am truly grateful.” Your support obviously makes a difference.

The 19th annual golf tournament was held in memory of Chris Gruber, the former director of development for the CVM who organized and played in the golf tournament for the last eight years. News about Chris’ passing was posted in the April issue of Lifelines and a memorial fund has been established at www.found.k-state.edu/memorials/gruber.
