     The Department of Anatomy and Physiology has teaching responsibilities in the professional curriculum and graduate education.  The department is responsible for approximately 930 contact hours of the DVM curriculum in gross and microscopic anatomy, neuroscience, physiology, and pharmacology.  Faculty members in the department also are actively involved in graduate education.  The Graduate Program in Physiology is one of two doctoral programs in the college and the only graduate program at the university that provides opportunities for graduate study in veterinary physiology.
