Department of Anatomy and Physiology is proud to recognize
Dr. Yang has been in the department for several years. He is a Microbiologist II working initially with Dr. Chris Ross and then upon Dr. Ross’s retirement with Dr. Peying Fong, who wrote in her nomination “I have been most impressed by Dr. Jun Yang’s performance during the short time that he has worked with me. He welcomes the challenges presented by working in a completely different research area, is always curious about trying new approaches, and moreover is a troubleshooter par excellence. Aside from these qualities and his overall outstanding progress, Dr. Yang has many other positive qualities that specifically mark him as an exemplary employee. If I were asked to name just one, it would be his willingness to help anyone in need of assistance. I have learned that he is not at all deterred by perceived limitations. He persists, follows through and makes sure that situations are resolved to everyone’s satisfaction. He is an outstanding employee and a valued colleague.” Congratulations Jun and thank you for your outstanding work for the department.
