Classified Employee of the Year

The Department of Anatomy and Physiology is proud to recognize
Joel Sanneman as our 2005 Classified Employee of the Year.

Joel Sanneman receives his Classified Employee of the Year award from Dr. Frank Blecha

Joel has exhibited an incredible level of enthusiasm and “can do” spirit this last year and for all the years he has been a Research Technologist in Dr. Marcus’ laboratory. Joel works tirelessly not only on his laboratory responsibilities, but also for the greater good of the department, college, and university. Over the last several months, Joel has devoted countless hours to help the department design and implement the Russ and Pat Frey Conference Center. In addition, he has maintained several common-use instruments for the Center for Epithelial Function in Health and Disease and other departmental and university investigators as well as training individuals on the use of these instruments. Joel’s cheerful and expert technological help with our presentation and videoconferencing systems is appreciated by all. Congratulations Joel and thank you for your outstanding work for the department.
