The College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University and its Veterinary Medical Alumni Association are pleased to assist the classes in planning their reunions for the spring of 2013. This is an opportunity to reminisce with classmates about the past and get updates on the present. The majority of Five-Year Reunions will be held in Manhattan on Saturday, June 1. Reunions scheduled are the classes of 1953, 1958, 1963, 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, and 2008. We hope you and your family plan to return to your alma mater and attend your reunion.

Tours

Tours and Activity Information

College and campus tours during the reunion are scheduled on Saturday, June 1, 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Those interested will meet in Trotter Hall dean's lobby at either of the above times.

There will be an additional hour at 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. for Dr. Ralph Richardson, Dean, to give a Master Plan Presentation for 2025. It was well received last year and we would like to offer the opportunity for returning alumni this year.

19th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament

Heritage Evening
Heritage Evening is Sunday, June 2, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., open bar, and 6:30 p.m. dinner at the Alumni Center Ballroom. The Dean, Dr. Ralph Richardson will emcee the evening. Dr. Justin Janssen, President of the VMAA Executive Board will be presiding over a short business meeting.

Presentation of Awards

Heritage Evening is Sunday, June 2, 5:30-6:30 p.m., open bar, with dinner at 6:30 p.m. at the Alumni Center Ballroom. Four VMAA awards to be presented to:

2013 Distinguished Alumnus Award – Dr. Ronald J. Marler, DVM 1973
2013 E.R. Frank Award – Dr. Polly R. Schoning, DVM 1964
2013 Outstanding Young Alumnus – Dr. Copper Aitken-Palmer, DVM 2003
2013 Distinguished Alumnus Award – Dr. David S. Hodgson, DVM 1968

75th Annual Conference for Veterinarians
The 75th Annual Conference for Veterinarians will be held June 1-4, 2013. A Continuing Education Program will be e-mailed or mailed to each alumnus invited to their Five-Year Reunion.
