Start Program
Bring in your puppy at 6 to 8 weeks of age.
Please bring in any previous medical history, i.e. vaccines, deworming, etc.

Vaccination Schedule

• DA2PP vaccination:

  • prevention of canine distemper, infectious canine hepatitis, respiratory disease caused by canine adenovirus type 2, parainfluenza and parvovirus infections.

  • Every 3 weeks until 14 to 16 weeks.

  • High risk puppies for Parvo virus will be given an additional booster at 18-20 weeks.

• Rabies Vaccination
  Given at 12 weeks of age or older.

• Additional Vaccines
  Will be discussed with you to determine need and given on an "as-needed" basis.

Exams

• Vaccine/Health Record (1st Exam)
• Educational portfolio with tips on puppy care and behavioral concerns (1st Exam)
• Complete physical exam
• Flea/tick control (as needed)
• Heartworm preventative
• Fecal examination for intestinal parasites (deworming if necessary)
  • Please bring stool sample less than 24 hours old
• Necessary Vaccine boosters
• Last Exam to include a reminder for next yearly wellness exam to include
  • Physical exam
  • DA2PP booster
  • Rabies booster
  • Heartworm check
