Kindness Animal Hospital in Grand Forks, ND is searching for a motivated and caring associate veterinarian to join our team of dedicated and passionate veterinary professionals. Our practice is progressive and very well equipped. We focus on individual animal care and preventative medicine. We also provide advanced medical, dental, and surgical care including orthopedics and receive referrals from many of our surrounding practices. Kindness Animal Hospital was established in 1985 and we moved into a new facility in May of 2011. The new hospital has 6 spacious exam rooms, a large centralized treatment/ICU area, and separate canine and feline hospitalization wards. Our surgery suite has 2 heated electric tables, new VetLand EX3000 anesthesia machines, and LED lighting from Medical Illumination. The dental suite has 2 wet tables with Progeny digital dental x-ray and 2 air driven dental machines. Our laboratory includes the complete Idexx Laboratory suite including Catalyst blood chemistry, ProCyte CBC, VetLyte, UA analyzer, SNAPShot, and SNAPPro. Our imaging suite has Idexx Digital DR with a new InnoVet Select x-ray machine and we just purchased a new Aloka ProSound A6 ultrasound machine. We are fully computerized with Cornerstone and have computers in each exam room. Our hospital currently shares emergency call with 2 other small animal practices in town and so are on emergency only 1/3 of the time. Our 1/3 share of the emergency call is split evenly among the associates we have on staff so the emergency call is never more than 1 out of 6 weekends or week nights. We typically have 3 associate veterinarians so the emergency duty is usually 1 out of 9 weekends/nights. Must have DVM or equivalent degree and be eligible for licensure in North Dakota.
