To be considered as an applicant in the Kansas pool of candidates, the applicant must be a Kansas resident for tuition purposes at the time of application to the College of Veterinary Medicine.

A North Dakota contract provides five positions for certified North Dakota residents.

At-large positions are available including qualified international students.

Students are not allowed to change residency status for tuition purposes once they have accepted a non-resident position in the K-State College of Veterinary Medicine.
