I worked in a small animal exclusive practice for 11 years before joining the faculty at KSU.  I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of private practice.  There is something very special about building the relationship with a patient and client.  Besides the excitement and challenge of the daily cases in the clinic, that relationship was what really made practice enjoyable.  Since coming to KSU I have discovered a new joy--teaching students!  I am primarily involved with teaching the first year students in Gross Anatomy II, Microanatomy, and Neuroanatomy.  The enthusiasm of the first year students is contagious and I have so much fun introducing them to our profession.
