Frick Auditorium is located on the second floor of Mosier Hall. Enter at the Emergency Entrance. Signs will be posted to direct you to registration.

Registration Information

Registrations are due March 2, 2007. Please complete and return registration form, even though there is no registration fee. Registrations after this date and at the conference will still be accepted, but not guaranteed lunch or a copy of the proceedings.

Conference Registration Fee – none
The speakers’ expenses for the conference are paid from an endowment by Dr. Frank W. Jordan, Abilene, Kansas. Dr. Jordan established this fund in 1983 to enhance continuing education for veterinary medical practitioners, faculty, and students.

Parking
Parking is available on the west side (off Denison Avenue) and on the east side (off Jardine Drive) of the Veterinary Medical Complex.  A parking permit is not required for weekend parking.  Do not park in the client parking or reserved stalls as you may get ticketed

Conference Objectives
Veterinarians have an important role in the education of pet owners and the public about the benefits of pet ownership and potential risks of transmission of zoonotic agents between pets and people.  Goals for this conference include 1) provide veterinarians with information and tools to help them increase awareness and understanding of real and potential risks of zoonoses among pet owners, 2) provide information for health maintenance plans for pets of immunocompromised persons.

Lynn Guptill, DVM, PhD, DACVIM (Internal Medicine)
Associate Professor, Veterinary Clinical Sciences
Purdue University

Lynn Guptill is a graduate of Iowa State University and spent 7 years in general veterinary practice before completing residency and PhD programs at Purdue University.  She is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (small animal internal medicine) and is an associate professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at Purdue University.

Dr. Frank W. Jordan from Abilene, Kansas established an endowment in 1983 to enhance continuing education for veterinary medical practitioners, faculty, and students.

Dr. Jordan’s endowment is used to finance the speaker’s expenses for this conference.
