On behalf of the executive committee, it is with
great pleasure that we invite you to attend the 20th National
Meeting of the American Society for Rickettsiology and the 5th
International Conference on Bartonella as Emerging Pathogens to be
held September 2 through September 7, 2006 at the Asilomar
Conference Center in Pacific Grove, California. This beautiful venue
is not new to many members of the ASR since our 12th National
Meeting was held here in 1996. The organizing committee, together
with the Veterinary Medical Continuing Education group at Kansas
State University, has worked hard to ensure an interesting and
enjoyable meeting. We encourage all of you to attend to learn about
the most recent and exciting advances in the fields of Bartonella,
Rickettsia and rickettsial-related-organisms research. We look
forward to seeing you in California.
